Wanda and her family moved to Tempe, Arizona in 1957.  She went to work in the Summer Sessions and Extension Office at Arizona State University where she worked for 26 years.

She attended First Baptist Church of Tempe where she served as a children's Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir for many years.

Wanda was preceeded in death by her husband Earl and her son. She is survived by her daughter and her daughter-in-law.

A visitation and interment took place on April 19 and 20 at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens.

There will be a Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church of Tempe in July.
