Dr. Vincent Paul Apilado, 79, passed away November 28, 2015. Dr. Apilado received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1970. He was a well-respected professor at ASU and chairman of finance and real estate at the University of Texas at Arlington. In 2006, he was inducted into The Academy of Distinguished Teachers at UT-Arlington. Vince retired from full-time teaching in May 2010. He was a published author in many business journals and worked with numerous attorneys as an expert witness. Surviving is his wife, Elsa Apilado, two sons, three daughters and six grandchildren. Memorial Mass was on December 5, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, TX. (Source: ASU Foundation)
