Rev. Thomas A. Walsh, 98, died on November 21, 2014. Fr. Tom is survived by his sister and a niece. Fr. Tom was ordained into the priesthood in San Francisco in 1942. In 1960 he came to Arizona where he has worked as a counselor, a parish priest and at the All Saints Catholic Newman Center at ASU. He served the communities of St. Bernadette and Blessed Sacrament in Scottsdale after he retired. Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014with Chaplet at 3:00 p.m., a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament, 11300 N. 64th St., Scottsdale, Arizona. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. After burial, there will be a reception at Blessed Sacrament Parish.
