Terry J. Lovell graduated with High Honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1975. He later graduated from Arizona State University earning his master's in business administration and then completed his graduate course work for his Doctorate in Business Administration.

Terry taught at Arizona State University, University of Alaska Anchorage, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Northern Arizona University and then 32 years at Yavapai College where he was promoted to Full Professor with Tenure and was Past President of the Faculty Senate.

Terry was a friend to all who knew him, He went out of his way to help those around them and had a deep love for education. He was an avid outdoorsman; fishing shooting and woodworking were some of his favorite past times. Anyone wishing to honor Terry's Life may do so by dining at the El Tovar with any old friends and family and sharing together great memories of the good old days. Terry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shannon Lynn Pribble Stone, his two children, his two brothers and one sister. Terry was treated as part of the Pribble Family by his Mother-in-Law Jennie, two Brothers-in-law and one sister-in-Law.
