Telesfora M. Gonzalez, 74, passed away on January 15, 2021. She was a health promotor teaching cancer prevention classes for ASU’s College of Nursing and Health Innovation and the University of Arizona, and a translator for the Well Women Health Check Program. Telesfora was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and a son-in-law . She is survived by her husband, Nestor M. Gonzalez, five children, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a sister, a brother and many other family members. A vigil service was held on January 26, 2021, at West Resthaven Funeral Home in Glendale. Mass service was held on January 27, 2021 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Phoenix.
