Steven R. Cox, 75, passed away on February 19, 2020. Steven received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and his master’s and doctoral degrees in economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Steven's entire career was as a college professor, first as a tenured economics professor at ASU and later as a tenured professor and chair of the economics department at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. Steven leaves behind his wife, Carol, two sons, and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister. Steven's desire was to be cremated, and his family has scheduled no public memorial services. The family requests that memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, be made in remembrance of Dr. Steven R. Cox to the University of Southern Indiana Foundation (designated to the Economics Department in the Romain College of Business), Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School (designated to the school), and the Kentucky Camp for Children with Diabetes, Inc.
