Shirley Ruth Thumann, 87, passed away July 21, 2013. Shirley worked as a typist and administrative assistant at Northwestern Insurance Co., the Veterans Administration, Milwaukee Labor Press, Brookfield Lutheran Church and ASU. Shirley is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister and many nephews and nieces. Memorial Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, August 10, 2013, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:30 PM, at Three Pillars Ewald Chapel, Village on the Square, 375 Hwy 67, Dousman, WI 53118. The interment will be at10:00 AM, on Monday, August 12, 2013, at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St., Union Grove, WI 53182.
