I was born and raised in Sandwich, Illinois (65 miles west of Chicago).  Sandwich is known for having the largest county fair in Illinois.  I lived across the street and attended frequently.  

I moved to Denver, CO. where I lived and worked for over 20 years.  I was employed at Getty Oil Company, which had several name changes throughout the years.  I moved to Ahwatukee, in Phoenix, AZ in 1999.

I was hired at ASU in 2001 in the Athletic Department as an Administrative Assistant. In 2005 I transferred to ASU Counseling Services as an Administrative Associate where I worked on the Tempe Campus before moving to the Downtown Campus in 2012.  I worked there until my retirement in December, 2019. 

In retirement I spend time with friends and family keeping busy with various activities and volunteering.  I volunteer as a charity sewer at my church and in the office for ASURA.  I also enjoy exercise classes and misc. activities at my local recreation center. 

My daughter works at ASU and my twin grandsons graduated from ASU in 2020 and are currently continuing their education at ASU. 

I plan on doing a lot more traveling in the very near future.
