Sarah Lesperance was a secretary in the College of Nursing at Arizona State University.

Sarah moved to Friendship Village in Tempe, AZ, in 2003. She used her sewing skills to do alterations for fellow residents and expanded her passion for quilting. She enjoyed retirement at Friendship Village for 18 years, finally moving to long-term care in 2021 where she lived at the time of death.

Sarah is survived by a sister, two daughters, two stepchildren, plus many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 17 at Friendship Village. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix AZ, 85214.
