Sam Kirkpatrick was  Professor of Political Science and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from 1984-1990.  He initiated many changes for the College including strategic planning,  national searches for faculty and department chairs, chair retreats and "Teams" evaluations,  His interview was conducted by Gary Krahenbuhl on March 20, 2015.
