Rose Minetti , born in New York City, moved to Arizona in 1984. As a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in studio art she began her career as an artist. During those years she worked at Mesa Art Center, was a member and President of Arizona Women's Caucus for Art, and a member and board member of MARS Art Space in Phoenix.
In 1990 she joined Archives and Special Collections, ASU Libraries, as exhibit curator. She then earned a Master of Arts from ASU in 1995. Rose was Curatorial/Museum Specialist Sr. and project director. She created numerous exhibits from the collection about Arizona, including on-line exhibits, until her retirement in 2006.
Rose continues her work as a professional artist with representation in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and Washington, DC. She maintains studios in Gilbert, Arizona, and in Lewes, Delaware.
Rose's interests include hiking, biking, swimming, gardening and travels to various art museums and parks and preserves. She also loves visiting family (five grandchildren) and friends around the country. She loves the outdoors but when the weather is inclement she reads and watches good films. Rose volunteers at the Delaware State Parks Environmental Resources and is beginning her grass roots involvement with ASURA.
