Robert Keim, Information Systems Emeritus Professor, passed away on January 4, 2020. Bob joined ASU in 1979 as a research associate in the Bureau of Business and Economic Research. He spent the rest of his career here, staying on as an emeritus professor after his retirement in 2011. Bob joined the business school before the Information Systems department was born, and he was a key player in developing the undergraduate and graduate IS programs. He also served as director of the Decision Systems Research Center and director of InMaST: Information Management and Systems Technology, a division of the L. William Seidman Research Institute. Bob was a member of ASURA. A service in his honor will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the ASU Newman Center, 230 E. University Dr. in Tempe.
