Robert "Bob" Bensch received a General Engineering Degree at Iowa State University in 1950.  Bob served in the US Air Force during the Korean War from 1950-1954. In 1962 he received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa.

Bob worked in sales at Allis Chalmers from 1954-1962, as a Professor at Arizona State University from 1962-1964 and Professor in Business at Mankato State University for 29 years from 1964-1993. 

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann; a son; three daughters; six grandchildren; four great grandchildrenk; and two nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson; a son-in-law; and a sister and brother-in-law.

Funeral services were held June 1, 2024.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Blue Earth Nicolett County Humane Society (BENCHS).
