Robert Elliot Benjamin, 81, passed away on April 13, 2015. He received his law degree in Chicago, and his PhD in Economics from ASU. After working for many years with companies such as Valley Bank, O'Malley Bros, Motorola, Pepsico and Anheuser Busch, he left the law for academia. He taught at ASU, Western International University, The American Graduate School, and Mesa Community College. Dr. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Suzanne, a daughter, two sons, two step daughters, a step-son, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, Thursday, April 16 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, Dr. Benjamin would appreciate contributions to the Wounded Warrior Fund for Marines.
