Rich was an Air Force veteran and an expert welder who retired from ASU Engineering.

He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping – even his living room with his grandchildren. His greatest joy aside from his family, was daily calls with his sister, his fiance Kim and sitting outside each evening with his friends and neighbors.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Emil & Eleanore Stanko and a sister.

He is survived by his three daughters;  his sister and nephew; his fiance, Kim; his twelve grandchildren and a great grandson; his brother-in-law and nephew and niece.
