Dr. Raymond M. Sargent, 62, died May 29. Ray received his PhD in English in 1981 from ASU. He was an Army veteran. Ray was a caring and dedicated teacher at Thunderbird High School for 29 years. After retirement, he taught part-time at ASU West. Ray is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren, two siblings and many nieces and nephews.
