Raymond Kary

He received his B.S. Degree from Jamestown College in Physics and Mathematics in 1958, his M.S. Degree from the University of Minnesota: College of Medicine, School of Public Health; Radiological Health and Public Health in 1964 and his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa: College of Medicine, Department of Preventative Medicine and Environmental Science; Occupational Diseases and Workmen's Compensation in 1967.

He also taught evening college courses at Arizona State University (College of Engineering and College of technology and Applied Sciences), Grand Canyon University (Department of Natural Science and Mathematics), University of Arizona ( College of Medicine) and the University of Phoenix (Management, Business Administration, Health Services Administration and Nursing).

He was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Governor's Commission on the Arizona Environment (Chairman 1992) and the Hazardous Waste Technical Advisory Committee. He was appointed by the Mayor to serve on the City of Phoenix Environmental Quality Commission. Committee Memberships included: Board of Advisors, Arizona Center for Occupational Safety and Health, University of Arizona (Chairman of the Board), Board of Advisors, Valle Del Sol, Occupational Nurse Association Electric Power Research Institute, Environmental Task Force Edison Electric Institute, Environmental Committee Board of Directors, Arizonans for Non-Smokers' Rights (1991-1993 and 2010 2020) Hazardous Material Advisory Council, Paradise Valley Community Hazardous Materials Technology Program In 2001.
