Paul Skiera brings over 25 years of experience from Arizona State University, where he led instructional design and learning technologies as the Center Director at SkySong, driving digital transformation in education. Paul retired from ASU in 2016 and now serves as a Director at Cornell University, known for his expertise in developing innovative learning strategies in STEM fields like Data Science, NLP, and generative AI, impacting students and professionals alike.
An ASU graduate, Paul and his wife, Uly—also an alum—are proud Sun Devils. Their daughter, Alana, is a freshman at Barrett Honors College, studying Material Science with a minor in Dance. Their twins, Hanna and Rayna, are sophomores at Gilbert Classical Academy, where Paul is active on the PTO board and enjoys supporting their volleyball.
Originally from Chicago, Paul moved to Arizona in 1987. Outside of work, he values family time and exploring new adventures with Uly, who loves traveling and paddle boarding. Paul is excited to give back to the ASU community through his role on the Retiree Association Board.
