Nancy La Rue Matte passed away on January 31, 2014. She graduated from ASU with her Ph.D. in English Literature. Her career spanned 40+ years in education at Arizona State University, South Mountain Community College and Phoenix College. She is survived by a son and four grandchildren. A memorial will be held at Phoenix College on February 21, at 2 p.m. in Willo.
