Minutes for October 13, 2020
The October meeting of the ASURA Board was held on October 13, 2020 via Zoom. The main item was the approval of the 2020-2021 budget. An additional $1000 was added to support virtual interviewing for the Video History Project and $1500 for the publication of the 3rd Decade of Success book. Since renewals and donations are up this year, all line items will be commensurate with last year’s amounts. Both the Video History Project and the 3rd Decade of Success book are making good progress. ABOR has asked for $5.6 Billion to support Arizona’s universities, plus another $35 million to make up for the cuts in last year’s “skinny” budget. The Arizona state medical insurance options are extremely complicated this year and reenrollment is required.
