Michael F. Driscoll,68, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012. Mike received a BA in mathematics from St John's University, MN in 1966. He then went to ASU in 1971 after completing his Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Arizona. Mike was tenured and promoted to Associate Professor in 1976. During his 30+ years at ASU Mike made substantial contributions to the programs and curricula in statistics. He also published various research articles and served as a valued statistical consultant on a number of research publications and projects for faculty and students at ASU. Mikes dedication, leadership and accomplishments during his career were exemplary. He retired in 2002. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother. He is survived by two brothers.
