Mary Martha Prince, 73, passed away March 30, 2015. Mary Martha was a graduate of Phoenix College, received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Arizona, and her Master of Arts Degree in Library Science from the University of Denver. Mary Martha's professional career included teaching Secondary English in Claremont, CA; Maryvale, AZ and Colorado Springs, CO. She was Librarian at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs and later the Library Director at Coronado High School in Colorado Springs. She also served as Librarian at ASU West, the Fountain Hills Branch of the Maricopa County Library System, Thunderbird School of Global Management and Gateway Community College. She is survived by a sister, a brother, nephews, nieces and grand-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Donations may be made in her honor to St. Vincent de Paul, Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Gary Sinise Foundation. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85012. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 North 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008. (Source: Arizona Republic)
