June Dorothy Wheeler, as a teen moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

As her children grew older June worked outside the home, first in a veterinary office, secondly for a podiatrist. And after the family moved to Tempe, Arizona she completed her career working as a secretary at Arizona State University.

In addition, she taught exercise classes at the nearby Gym and served in her church working with the youth, which was one of her fondest memories.

June Dorothy Wheeler is survived by a daughter, two grandchildren and a great-grandson.

June was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Laquita Wheeler, a daughter and parents, Margie Pauline (Reed) Werner and George Washington Edward Werner.

A family memorial will take place at a later date, allowing for family travel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
