John (Jack) Joseph Ziegler, 83, passed away on July 22, 2015. He joined the Navy in 1950, stationed out of San Diego, CA. where he met and married his wife, Carole. He graduated from ASU with a Bachelor's degree. He was an electrician by trade and worked at ASU before transitioning to Motorola where he retired. He also built and ran the Tempe Health Club on Mill Ave. He is preceded in death by two sisters and a brother, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law. He is survived by longtime companion Viola Wright, ex-wife Carole Ziegler; six children, 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at 11a.m.at the VA National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Cave Creek, AZ with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Serenity Hospice or any Cat Rescue.
