John "Johnny" Ordini Jr., 58, passed away on December 6, 2014. John graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He moved to Phoenix in 1983 to work for ASU in the Department of Property Administration and was soon promoted to Assistant Director for Administration, Facilities Planning, and Construction. John became a Certified Public Accountant in 1985 and earned his MBA from Arizona State University in 1994. He became Chief Financial Officer of Phoenix Country Day School in 1995, then Chief Financial Officer of Homebase Youth Services in 2005. John was responsible for the finance division leadership of the $500 million First Things First organization as Finance Administrator/Assistant Director from 2007 to 2010. He was a member of a number of professional and educational associations and fraternities. He was honored by the Who's Who in the West and Who's Who in Arizona. John is preceded in death by his wife Sally. He is survived by a son plus other family members. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Anglican, 5811 North 20th Street in Phoenix, Arizona 85016. Family graveside service will be private.
