John J. "Jack" Naperala, 82, of Scottsdale, and also a resident of Show Low, AZ, passed away November 19, 2008 in Show Low. Born in Chicago, IL, Jack served in the Marines during WWII and worked at ASU in the Bureau of Publications, retiring in 1989. He was a talented woodcarver and enjoyed teaching the craft. Jack is survived by his daughter Stacy and her fiancé Steve Pennell of Tempe. He was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne and sisters Lois Kennedy and Lorraine Ring.
