Joan P. Katzenberger, 67, of Peoria, AZ, went home June 6, 2006. She was

the first born to Paul and Florence Mangnuson on August 6, 1938 in Danville, IL. Joan graduated from Flagstaff High in 1956 and went on to graduate as a Registered Nurse from West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL. She continued her career in nursing, obtaining her BS from ASU and her MS from Cal State. She found great joy in taking care of her patients and teaching. During her career she worked for many hospitals, hospice centers, home health, and taught at ASU and Torrance Memorial Hospital in Calf. Her greatest love was her children, Fred and Debbie. Her children were blessed to have such a caring and loving mother like Joan. She is survived by her son Fred, daughter Debra Upton, daughter-in law Debora, son-in law Dennis, grandchildren: Jesse, David, Kendra, Sharon, and Nikki, great-grandchil-dren: Justin, Cloe, Ryan, Morgan, Casey, and Connor, sisters: Kay, Mary, and Sue, brothers: Paul and Chuck.
