Jo Ann Hennington, 81, passed away on December 6, 2013. She was Professor Emeritus at ASU. She received her Bachelor of Arts, MBA, and Doctorate of Education from ASU. After teaching in Scottsdale at Arcadia and Chaparral High Schools from 1964-1973, she began her career as a professor at ASU in 1973. She held a series of faculty and administrative positions in the College of Business, retiring as Assistant Dean in 1994. She served as an ASURA Board Member 1994-1997 and Volunteers Chair 1995-1998. Jo Ann is survived by a daughter, a grandson and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, of 58 years, her parents and a brother. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Messinger Mortuary Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ.
