Jay Walter Murphy, 66, passed away, August 19, 2019. He attended ASU. Jay worked as a manager at Jerry's Audio Exchange in Tempe. He earned his Bachelor's degree and worked at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells, as a CPA, for six years. A few years later, he went to work for his alma mater, ASU, where worked for more than 20 years and retired as Executive Director of Financial Services. Jay is survived by his wife, Sandy Murphy, three children, five grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. A celebration of his life was held on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Mariposa Gardens, Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd, Mesa AZ. Contributions may be made to: Banner Neuro Wellness Center, 207 N.
