Janice's professional career included positions in admissions departments at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa; Northeastern Jr. College in Sterling, Colorado; and Arizona State University in Tempe, from which she retired.

Janice enjoyed cheering for her favorite sports teams (Denver Broncos, University of Iowa, Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Cardinals) and spending time with her beloved family. 

She is survived by two brothers, as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren

Janice is preceded in death by Ben, her husband of 44 years; her parents; her two sisters; a brother; and her stepson.

Funeral Service were held on March 29, 2022 at the Stratford Lutheran Church in Stratford.
