Janet M. Lendle
Nurse Educator, College of Nursing
In 1961 Janet received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth Minnesota. She later attended the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1967 with a Masters of Nursing degree. In 1976 she completed the family nurse practitioner program at Arizona State University.
After receiving her Masters of Nursing degree, Janet moved to Arizona and worked as a nurse educator at Arizona State University.
Janet loved Arizona and especially Tempe. She formed many friendships with many wonderful people who became her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Elsie, and her former spouse Gordon Berg. Janet is survived by her three brothers, one nephew and four nieces
Memorials can be directed to any of these organizations: Doctors Without Borders, UNICEF, Amnesty International, Population Fund, International Rescue Committee, World Wildlife Fund or Heifer International.
