Dr. Jane M. Carey joined ASU in 1988. She taught at the West campus in the School of Management for 21 years and transferred to the Tempe Campus in 2008 and taught 2 more years in the WP Carey School of Business. She retired in 2010.
Dr. Carey earned her BS in Education and MBA from Eastern Illinois University and her PhD in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi in 1986. Dr. Carey is the author/editor of seven academic books and over 40 refereed journal articles. Her research is in the area of human-computer interaction.
Dr. Carey co-founded the ASU West Campus Environment Team with Provost Ben Forsythe. She served as President of the ASU West Faculty Senate twice. She served as Director of Undergraduate Studies, Interim Associate Dean, and Director of the Center for Global Leadership for the School of Management. She now lives in Sun City, Arizona. She has two daughters and a granddaughter who also live in the Phoenix area. She is proud to be a Sun Devil retiree.
