Irv Pearlstein, 97, passed away on May 2nd, 2014.  Irv and his wife moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1946. Their family includes four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Irv's contributions include founding the Phoenix Federation Endowment Foundation, the Phoenix Chapter of the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Phoenix Chapter of the Anti-Defamation League, the Phoenix Israel Bonds, and the Prime Ministers Club. Irv also served on many boards including ASU’s Sun Angel Foundation. He was recognized for his achievements by three U.S. Presidents, and the Phoenix Jewish News named him, "Mr. Israel" for his tireless efforts and philanthropy on behalf of the Jewish State. Contributions in Irv's name may be made to the Southwest Chapter of the Anti-Defamation League and the Weizmann Institute of Science.
