Gloria Frances Iniguez
Worked in the Hispanic Mother Daughter Program

Gloria Frances Iniguez, 54, passed away on December 15, 2018. She graduated from ASU in 1989 with a Degree of Baccalaureate of Arts in Spanish from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. During her college years she was involved in many college clubs such as M.E.Ch.A. (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlan) and was an exchange student for a study abroad trip to Mexico. After graduation Gloria worked at ASU in the Hispanic Mother Daughter Program before starting her 25-year professional career service for the City of Phoenix in the Water Department, Neighborhood Services Department, and in the Human Resources Department. Gloria is survived by two sisters, a brother, ten nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and great nephews, 6 Godchildren and other relatives. A brother preceded her in death. A Rosary Recitation will be held at St. Mathews Catholic Church starting at 9:30 AM on Friday, December 28th. Mass of Christian Burial will be immediately following at 10 AM followed by the Eulogy (320 N 20th Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85009). Then the Procession for Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, (2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008). A Pot Luck reception will be held from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM in the Hall of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (OLPH), (5614 W Orangewood Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301). Christmas Eve would have been Gloria's birthday. She was named after the angelic hymn bearing her name; Gloria in Excelsis Deo. (Source: ASU Foundation)
