Gilbert "Gil" Jimenez, 72, passed away on February 19, 2013. Gil served as a member of the Board of Directors of the AZ Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Thunderbird School of Global Management, ASU Alumni Association, CPLC, and Boy Scouts of America. Gil also received various civic and business awards including the AZHCC Man of the Year and the St. Jude  Children’s Research Hospital recognition award. Gil is survived by his wife, Geri (Canalez); a daughter, a son, two grandchildren, mother and four siblings. A memorial mass will be held on March 16, at 11a.m. at Blessed Sacrament, 11300 N. 64 St., Scottsdale.
