Evelyn got a bachelor's degree at NM Highlands University in Las Vegas and master's at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Her teaching jobs included being a Teacher Corps Team Leader in Rocky Ford CO, and a Head Start Trainer working out of Arizona State University in Phoenix.

She was predeceased by her husband Ben on  October 12, 1993. Survivors include a sister, sister in-, and five sons and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn was proud of all of her wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Services will begin with a rosary being said on Saturday January 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at St Bernadette's Catholic Church 11509 Indian School Rd NE. The Mass is being said at 10:30 am at the same location. Reception will be at the parish hall immediately following the mass. A private Committal will take place on Monday January 24, 2021 at Gate Of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to your favorite charity.
