Eleanor Ferrall, 87, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012. She attended Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, edited the campus newspaper, graduated with distinction and was noted in "Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities." A business trip/vacation she and her husband made to Arizona in 1957 resulted in an instant love affair with the desert Southwest, and they moved their young family to Scottsdale in 1958. She worked at Scottsdale Public Library before moving to The Hayden Library at ASU, obtaining her Master's Degree in English, and ultimately retiring from university service in 1987. Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, a sister and infant daughter. She is survived by three sons, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
