Edward Schlar, 81, passed away on March 30, 2018. Eddie graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and, after serving with distinction as a Captain in the US Army, he went on to a long career with the City of Phoenix. He also taught business at ASU and Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management. He is survived by his wife, Avis, three children and five grandchildren. The funeral service will be Sunday, April 8, 12:30 pm at Sinai Mortuary, 4538 N. 16th St. Phoenix, AZ 85016 followed by interment at Beth El Cemetery.
