Lalo worked for Arizona State University as a groundskeeper for 32 years. Lalo was a hard worker and his work could be enjoyed by many who walked the grounds of Arizona State University.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents Francisco and Josefa D. Gutierrez, his eight siblings and his beautiful wife Elvira "Vera" Gutierrez.

He is survived by his daughter, his son, three granddaughters, nine great grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Monday March 7, 2022. Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary 4310 East Southern Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85042 at 10:00 am. Burial immediately to follow at St Francis Catholic Cemetery 2033 N 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85008
