In Phoenix Edith worked several jobs, ultimately finding her way to The American Graduate School of International Management, aka Thunderbird, in 1985 and working there until 1997 as an Administrative Assistant for Admissions.

She loved working with students from all over the globe who came to the campus in Glendale. Edith retired from this job in 1997 and became active in a variety of Senior events.

A Celebration of her Life was held on September 3, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Power, parents Arden and Gertrude (Neller) Hoaglund, her sister and her two brothers. She is survived by her four children, as well as 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, many cousins, other loved ones she called family, and many friends.
