Edward "Ed" Jackowski graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering from RETS Electronic Schools in 1976, then moved to Massachusetts in 1977, where he worked for Hybrid Systems, Hybrid Components, Sertech Labs, and MetLife.

He then moved to Arizona, where he worked at the ASU bookstore.

He is predeceased by his parents, his two sisters and his brother.

He is survived by his widow Alison and their two daughters, his brother-in-law and his two daughters, his other brother-in-law, his sister's two children, and many more cousins in Michigan.

Services were held on March 2, 2026.
