Summer has arrived and that means the summer edition of Prime Times is in the mail, wending its way to your mailbox. It also means it is available, in color, on our website. You will want to get a nice glass of lemonade or beverage of your choice while you sit back and enjoy:

• the message from our new President, Will Stasi,
• the story about our new 2022-2023 ASURA Scholarship Recipient, Sylvia Ceja-Gonzalez,
• reading Jeri Meeks' Government Liaison’s Report, and
• reflecting on remembrance of events past (and future).

Jeannette does a wonderful job with our signature publication and we should all give her our thanks as we read the issue.

Events Future

One of the important pages in Prime Times, is the "ASURA Calendar of Events:  Summer and Fall 2022".  As your peruse the calendar you will notice that we are preparing to make up for losing the last two years. We hope you will want to be part of the revival and take part in the planed events.

As you read the calendar note:

• the Pre-retirement Seminars are offered at noon on the third Monday of each month. Check our website for more details as they are added during the summer / fall months.
• The Meet and Greet Pizza Party is being planned for Ability 360 on September 14 to accommodate the large turnout that is anticipated - make this come true! Registration for this event is open on our website.
• In October we return to Tovrea Castle; we have 12 tickets. Registration for the lottery to determine the lucky 12 is now open.
• Our annual Open Enrollment Seminar is coming up in October.
• The end of year Holiday Potluck (and bake sale?) is returning in December.

Hope the rest of the summer is pleasurable; remember it is a dry heat.
