Donald Arthur Lindgren, 82, passed away on June 19, 2014. After graduation from high school, he entered the U.S. Army serving in Okinawa. He earned Bachelor of Science, Masters, and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 1962 he relocated to Arizona and became Assistant Professor in the School of Business at ASU, Tempe; later Professor of Marketing at San Diego State University until retirement. Survivors include two daughters and three sisters. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28th, at 11:00 a.m. at Foothills United Methodist Church, 4031 Avocado Blvd., La Mesa, CA. In lieu of flowers,the family suggests contributions to Challenge Center, 5540 Lake Park Way, La Mesa, CA 91942.
