Donald John Freeman, PhD, 78, died November 21, 2017. Don was a professor at Michigan State University before becoming an Associate Dean and professor in the College of Education at ASU. He touched many lives through his work as a Senior Researcher, Institute of Research on Teaching, his classroom teaching as well as mentoring young professionals. He found his collaborative work with the Dine College of the Navajo Nation, and teaching abroad especially meaningful. Don is survived by his wife Cheryl, his three sons and seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Hansen Desert Hills Memorial Park in Scottsdale, AZ. The family requests donations be made to the Memory Keepers Foundation
