Deola (Dee) Perry studied Nursing and Social Work, graduating with her bachelor's degree from Weber State University. She then earned her master's degree in social work from Michigan State University continuing to then earn her PhD in counseling from The University of Arizona.

Dee taught in the field of social work at Rhode Island College, Idaho State University and Arizona State University.

She was also experienced in American Sign Language. Dee retired from McKay Dee Hospital where she worked many years on the Psych Crisis Team in the Emergency Room making many friends that were dear to her. She also spent many years as a professional certified life coach.

Dee enjoyed her time and was very proud of being a member of Wasatch Fibre Artist. She loved making beautiful pieces and sharing this talent with many friends and family members.

She also loved being a member of Soroptimist International of Ogden where she served as a leader for many years and continued in the organization serving with great passion until the time of her passing.

Dee is survived by many loving family members including her brother, two nephews, and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents and niece.
