Delores A Thompson, 81, passed away October 12, 2021. After high school, Delores wanted adventure, so she was off to the west coast where she worked watching the children of a business man and his wife. Delores soon discovered that adventures can happen anywhere that you live, and decided that she missed North Dakota. She made her way back home, and got a job working for the Superintendent of Schools in Bowbells.



After marriage, two children, and living in several states, the family moved to Arizona. While in Arizona Delores worked as a manager of Hi-Health, a secretary at a Mortuary, and later landed her dream job in admissions at the School of Music at ASU where she worked until she retired.



Delores was preceded in death by two brothers, her husband Jerome, and a son. Delores is survived by a daughter, three grandchildren, nieces and nephew. Funeral service was held on October 18, 2021 in Columbus, ND. Burial followed at South St. Olaf Cemetery south of Larson.
