Dr. Daniel Landers, 81, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2023, with his wife (Pat Landers) lovingly by his side. Mr. Landers was born in Oakland, California and was a long time resident of Chandler, Arizona. In his professional career, Daniel Landers was a Regent Professor at Arizona State University (ASU). His research in Exercise Science and Health Psychology was directed toward an analysis of exercise effects on selected mental health variables. Prior to ASU, Mr. Landers was a professor at Pennsylvania State University, the University of Washington, and the State University of New York at Brockport and the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana. He is survived by his wife Pat; two daughters; two sons; his brother; as well as ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Alice and his former wife Donna Landers. A public graveside service was held on June 26, 2023.
