Daniel Hugh Harries, 74, passed away February 13, 2013. Dan received his BA degree in 1961 from San Luis Rey College, and MA from ASU. Dan worked as a teacher's assistant at ASU for two years. He worked as vice president for the family business Aggregate Products until his retirement in 1992. Dan was predeceased by his wife, Sharon, who passed away in 2000. He is survived by four children, his sister and four grandchildren. No memorial service is planned. At Dan's request his children will celebrate his life at a summer gathering at his favorite campsite in the White Mountains. (Source: Arizona Republic)
