Claudia Pollard McSpadden in the 1950s pursued nursing training at the esteemed Mayo Clinic St. Marys Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
After relocating to Arizona, she dedicated herself to her nursing career, working at the Arizona State College (now ASU) athletic department.
Claudia continued her professional journey, working in a local hospital and later with a local family physician. In the mid-1970s,
Claudia made a significant change in her career, giving up nursing to pursue an associate's degree in paralegal studies at Scottsdale Community College. Her dedication paid off when she was immediately hired by the Fennemore Craig law firm, becoming the first paralegal in Arizona.
Later, she moved on to the Tolman & Osborne practice in Tempe, where she continued her work until her retirement in 1997.
She is survived by Keith, her husband of 69 years, their three children and her three grandchildren.
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Zora, two siblings and her grandson.
