Clara Emma (Ranalletta) Reuter, 89, passed away January 27, 2013. Clara was a talented seamstress and began working by sewing wedding dresses, bridal attendant dresses, and veils. She moved to New York City and learned the art of pattern design. She married Vincent Reuter in 1957 and they moved to Tempe in 1961. Clara was a member of ASU's Faculty Wives and PEO. She enjoyed volunteering as a faculty wife helping students with registration at ASU. She also worked at ASU's Student Health Center from 1978 to 1985. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vince, Emeritus Professor at ASU; and three brothers. She is survived by a son, a daughter, two grandchildren and a niece. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave. in Tempe. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley (www.hov.org) Masses for the repose of the soul of Clara will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Tempe, on Ash Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. and Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 11 a.m. (Source: Arizona Republic)
